Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Soft Skills Trainer to lead placement readiness programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The trainer will design and deliver high-impact sessions that enhance students communication, interpersonal, and professional skills, preparing them for campus recruitment and corporate success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured modules on:
- Verbal and non-verbal communication
- Group discussions and personal interviews
- Resume writing and LinkedIn optimization
- Presentation skills and professional etiquette
- Workplace behavior and emotional intelligence
- Conduct mock interviews and provide personalized feedback
- Collaborate with placement cell and academic departments to align training with industry expectations
- Mentor students on career readiness, confidence building, and goal setting
- Develop customized content for diverse academic streams and career paths
- Maintain training records, feedback reports, and student progress dashboards
Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in English, Psychology, HR, Communication, or related fields
- 2 to 3 years of experience in soft skills training, corporate L&D, or student development
- Certification in soft skills, NLP, coaching, or behavioral training preferred
- Proven experience in campus-to-corporate transition programs
- Excellent facilitation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with placement processes and recruiter expectations will be an added advantage
