Description

Ensure and maintain high standards of cleanliness at the site.
Follow the instructions and assignments from the Mall Manager
Strictly ensure and follow instructions from the Manager in using the appropriate cleaning chemicals.
Ensure all staff wears appropriate uniforms and safety gear and adhere to the prescribed safety standards as per the norms.
Ensure proper display of signage by housemen.
Maintain discipline and quality of work of the housemen.
Ensure no pilferage and wastage of material due to negligence.
Fully assist the Mall Manager for data relating to day-to-day work, development in systems and methods used.
Prepare and monitor daily checklists and reports on staff, equipment and material movement.
Ensure all equipment and materials are rinsed and cleaned after every use.
Supervisor is overall responsible for the performance of the cleaning operations at the site.

Minimum Skills Requirement:

Thorough knowledge of the methods and techniques of housekeeping.
Considerable knowledge of cleaning materials and their chemical effect on surfaces, materials, and textiles.
Considerable knowledge of the operation and proper care of housekeeping equipment, and the requisition and maintenance of supply inventories.
Ability to train and supervise employees, and to plan and coordinate their work.
Ability to maintain adequate records and prepare estimates of housekeeping needs.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with professional, administrative and maintenance personnel, and with the employees.
