Role Description The Social Worker Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves supervising social work activities, coordinating case management, and ensuring that clients receive appropriate support services aligned with organizational standards. The Social Worker Manager will oversee a team of social workers, develop and implement intervention plans, and collaborate with external agencies and community resources to address client needs. Daily responsibilities include reviewing case files, conducting assessments, providing guidance on complex cases, and monitoring program effectiveness through data and reporting. The role also includes training and mentoring staff, maintaining documentation and compliance with relevant regulations, and contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance service quality.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in case management, client assessment, and developing individualized care or intervention plans.
• Experience in team leadership, supervision, and performance management within social services or related fields.
• Knowledge of community resources, government programs, and social welfare systems, with the ability to coordinate services effectively.
• Excellent communication, counseling, and conflict resolution skills to work with diverse clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, handle confidential information, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related discipline; professional licensure or registration where applicable is an advantage.
• Prior experience in social work, community development, NGO, or placement services settings is preferred.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and documentation tools; familiarity with case management software is beneficial.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and promoting equity and inclusion in service delivery.
