Udaan The Centre of Theatre, Art & Child Development, a child initiative of EduAdvice, focuses on nurturing creativity, expression, and holistic development among children through theatre, arts, and educational programs.
Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and driven Social work and Fundraising Intern to support fundraising efforts for EduAdvice and Udaan. This role offers hands-on experience in donor outreach, sponsorship coordination, campaign planning, and proposal development. You will work closely with the fundraising team to help generate financial support for impactful education and child development initiatives.
- Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns and sponsorship drives
- Identify and research potential donors, partners, and sponsors
- Support outreach efforts via email, calls, and digital platforms
- Help create compelling fundraising proposals, pitch decks, and presentations
- Maintain accurate donor records and contribution tracking
- Coordinate with internal teams for campaign execution and reporting
- Support administrative and documentation tasks related to fundraising activities
- Qualifications & SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of fundraising, sponsorships, marketing, or sales (preferred)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using email, MS Office, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup
- Creative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Passion for education, arts, and child development initiatives
Educational Background:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Fundraising, Non-Profit Management, Business, Communications, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Work and experience or knowledge in Medical Social Work
- Strong Communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with individuals and groups
- Experience or familiarity with Case Management and Social Services
- Commitment to supporting educational and social outcomes for diverse communities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
