Opportunity
We're looking for a Social Video Content Creator who enjoys turning ideas into engaging short-form content.
In this role, you'll help bring insights from our blogs, podcasts, and internal conversations to life through short videos and social posts. The role combines creative storytelling, basic video shooting and editing, and short-form writing.
What will you be working on
You will be responsible for experimenting with and growing Hiver's presence across the following platforms.
- Instagram: Create short-form videos and carousels that spotlight the people behind the company. This could be a combination of team perspectives, behind-the-scenes moments, and employee insights, all rooted in the brand's voice and values.
- X (Twitter): Write tweets and threads that translate brand insights into conversations, jumping on relevant trends where it makes sense.
- YT shorts: Repurpose and adapt existing content into simple, lo-fi short-form videos.. Note: This role does not focus on high-production video work or motion graphics work.
- Substack: Support the content team in shaping a Substack presence by helping adapt blogs, podcast takeaways, and internal conversations into written posts.
What We Are Looking For
Must-have Skills
- 24 years of experience creating content for social media and other digital channels - both video and short-form written content.
- Strong instincts for creative storytelling and a know-how of distributing content.
- Ability to shoot simple videos using a phone and basic equipment
- Basic video editing skills using tools like CapCut, InShot, or similar
- Expertise in writing short-form social posts and threads
- Curious, experimental mindset.
- Ability to move quickly from idea to content
Good to have
- Have built or contributed to a social media page
