Role Description The Social Science Teacher ( Grade 6 to 8) will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Social Studies lessons to middle school learners in alignment with CBSE curriculum guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing lesson plans, preparing teaching materials, explaining historical, geographical, political, and social concepts, and assessing student performance through classwork, homework, projects, and examinations. The teacher will manage classroom dynamics, provide individualized support, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with colleagues and school leadership on curriculum development and co-curricular activities. Additional responsibilities include participating in parent meetings, school events, and professional development programs, while fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Gangotri International School in Gondal.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively teach Social Studies to middle school learners and adapt instruction to diverse learning needs.
• Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson planning aligned with CBSE standards.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear classroom instruction and constructive feedback to learners.
• Relevant academic background in Social Sciences, Education, or a related field; a Bachelor's or Master's degree is preferred.
