About the Role
We're hiring a Video-First Creative Professional for DevsLane.
This role is primarily focused on:
- Editing high-quality short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn clips)
- Creating visually strong content aligned with DevsLane's brand
- Supporting marketing campaigns with creatives
If you understand fast-paced editing, strong hooks, and professional branding — this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
- Edit Reels, Shorts & LinkedIn videos
- Add dynamic subtitles
- Create strong hooks (first 3 seconds matter)
- Add motion graphics & basic sound design
- Repurpose long-form content into short clips
Graphic Design
- Create social media creatives
- Design thumbnails
- Festival & campaign posts
- Maintain consistent visual branding
- Stay up-to-date with platform trends (Instagram Reels, Twitter threads, LinkedIn hooks, meme trends) and use them smartly.
- Collaborate with hiring, BD, and operations teams to create content aligned with real-time goals.
Content & Collaboration
- Stay updated with platform trends (Instagram Reels, LinkedIn hooks, etc.)
- Collaborate with hiring, BD, and operations teams to create real-time content aligned with business goals
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years experience in video editing (social-first preferred)
- Strong in Premiere Pro / After Effects
- Good understanding of short-form content pacing
- Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop / Illustrator)
- Fast turnaround ability
- Attention to detail
We are not looking for template-based editors. Strong storytelling sense is important.
Good to Have
- Basic color grading
- Understanding of startup ecosystem
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (optional)
- Experience editing founder-led or tech content
- Experience using AI-based video tools (e.g., Runway, Pika, Synthesia, Descript, Adobe Firefly, etc.)
- Ability to create AI-assisted visuals, motion elements, or background enhancements
- Understanding of how to use AI tools to improve speed and creative output — without compromising quality
Work Setup
- Location: 6th Floor,Scalability Tower, 46-A, SIDCUL IT Park, Dehradun – 248013
- Schedule: Monday–Friday from 10 am to 7pm
- Reporting To: Directly to the Co-founder.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
