Position Overview
Full-time, in-house Instagram video editor for Digibeezsy Media, Pune based Digital marketing who handles social media marketing for accounts within and outside India
Experience Required
1-2 years of proven experience in:
Short-form video editing (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok)
Social media content creation
Travel / Real estate content preferred
Key Responsibilities
Edit 25-30 Instagram Reels per month (6-8 reels per week)
Transform raw footage/stock footage e into engaging 15-60 second Reels
Add captions, text overlays, transitions, and trending audio
Optimize videos for Instagram algorithm (hooks, pacing, retention)
Maintain consistent brand aesthetic and quality
Monitor trending audio, formats and editing styles in the niche
Suggest creative concepts and editing approaches
Analyze performance data to optimize editing style
Stay updated on Instagram features and best practices
Technical Workflow
Fast turnaround: 24-48 hours from receiving footage to final edit
Organize and manage raw footage library
Create templates and systems for efficiency
Technical
Required Skills
Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro
Proficient in mobile editing apps (CapCut, InShot)
Basic graphic design (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, )
Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, compression
Creative Skills
Strong sense of pacing and storytelling for short-form content
Ability to make talking head content engaging
Knowledge of what works on Instagram (not just technically skilled)
Understanding of B2B audience vs. travel or real estate content
Soft Skills
Fast learner who stays updated on social media trends
Self-motivated with strong time management
Open to feedback and iteration
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Portfolio with 30+ Instagram Reels/short-form videos
Demonstrated engagement metrics (shares, saves, comments)
Experience with travel, real estate content
Basic understanding of Instagram analytics
Knowledge of YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn video editing (bonus)
Graduation is a must.
