Job Title: Social Media Business Strategist (EdTech)
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly strategic and performance-driven Social Media Business Strategist with prior experience in the education/EdTech domain. This role requires a deep understanding of how to position educational products, courses, and services across digital platforms to drive student acquisition, engagement, and brand credibility.
You will be responsible for building and executing social media strategies that directly contribute to lead generation, enrollments, and brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute data-driven social media strategies aligned with business and enrollment goals.
- Plan and manage content calendars across platforms: Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and X (Twitter).
- Create education-focused content strategies (courses, webinars, student success stories, faculty branding).
- Drive lead generation campaigns for courses, certifications, and training programs.
- Analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, CTR, conversions) and optimize campaigns accordingly.
- Collaborate with academic, marketing, and content teams to ensure accurate and impactful communication.
- Conduct competitor analysis (EdTech platforms, coaching institutes, online learning brands).
- Build and execute paid campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Ads) focused on student acquisition.
- Develop funnel strategies (awareness → consideration → enrollment).
- Manage and scale influencer collaborations (educators, mentors, student creators).
- Track and improve cost per lead (CPL) and conversion rates.
- Stay updated with EdTech trends, student behavior, and platform algorithms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in Social Media Strategy, Digital Marketing, preferably in EdTech / Education industry.
- Proven track record of driving leads, enrollments, or course sales via social media.
- Strong understanding of student psychology, decision-making journey, and content consumption behavior.
- Experience with performance marketing & lead funnels.
- Proficiency in tools: Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics.
- Ability to create high-converting content strategies (reels, carousels, webinars, ad creatives).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategy.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with design, video, and content teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
