Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for aSocial Media Strategist - Senior Associatewho will support the planning and execution of social media for multiple client brands as well as internal company pages. This role focuses on bringing ideas to life - from planning content and building mood boards to executing shoots and ensuring consistent social media presence.

You will work closely with design, video, and campaign teams to create engaging content that reflects the brand's voice and keeps pages active, relevant, and growing.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Planning & Content Coordination

Support the planning and execution of social media strategies for assigned client brands.

Build and manage monthly content calendars across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Meta, and YouTube.

Ensure consistent posting and coordination with internal teams for timely content delivery.

Content Ideation & Mood Boards

Develop content ideas aligned with brand positioning and campaign objectives.

Create mood boards and references to guide visual direction for posts, reels, and campaigns.

Work closely with designers and editors to ensure content aligns with the planned direction.

Reels, Shoots & Content Production

Assist in planning and executing short-form video content including reels and social media videos.

Coordinate and participate in shoots for brand content, ads, and campaign assets.

Becamera-friendly and comfortable appearing in front of the camerafor certain content pieces when required.

Brand & Campaign Communication

Work with internal teams to highlight campaigns, product launches, influencer collaborations, and brand announcements across social platforms.

Ensure all social media communication remains consistent with the brand's tone and messaging.

Community Engagement

Monitor comments, DMs, and interactions across brand pages.

Maintain the brand's tone of voice while responding to audiences and engaging with relevant conversations.

Internal Social Media & Event Coverage

Support the management of the company's internal social media handles.

Capture and document internal activities, team moments, and company events for social media content.

Performance Monitoring

Track key social media metrics such as engagement, reach, and follower growth.

Share basic insights on what content performs well and contribute ideas to improve future content.

Trend Awareness

Stay updated on social media trends, reels formats, and emerging content styles.

Bring fresh ideas that help brands stay relevant on social platforms.

Who You Are

  • 13 years of experience managing social media for brands or agencies.
  • Prior experience in a digital marketing, content, or influencer marketing environment is preferred.
  • Comfortable working on multiple brands and fast-moving timelines.
  • Strong understanding of social media content formats, especially short-form video.
  • Camera-friendly and confident participating in brand content or social media shoots when required.
  • Creative, organised, and proactive in bringing content ideas to life.
