Exeed College is seeking a Social Media Strategist to lead social media planning, content strategy, and campaign execution in our Trivandrum office. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, analytical, and proactive.

We have a well-established in-house content creation team, including more than 8 designers, motion graphic designers, a videographer, and video editors. We are looking for someone who can strategize high-quality content that drives strong engagement, rather than execute design tasks independently.

The focus will be on developing and executing impactful social media strategies, managing platforms, and optimizing performance across channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies and campaigns
  • Plan and conceptualize high-quality, engaging content aligned with brand goals
  • Work closely with the in-house creative team (designers, video editors, and motion graphics team) to bring content ideas to life
  • Clearly communicate creative direction, campaign objectives, and content requirements to the team
  • Optimize social media presence to maximize engagement and reach
  • Plan and oversee paid and organic campaigns on platforms like Meta and LinkedIn
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and continuously optimize strategies
  • Engage with followers, build community relationships, and strengthen brand presence
  • Identify and test new growth opportunities across social platforms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social media marketing or digital marketing
  • Strong skills in content strategy, copywriting, and editing
  • Proven ability to conceptualize content that drives engagement
  • Expertise in social media marketing and social media optimization (SMO)
  • Good understanding of platform algorithms, campaign planning, and analytics
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work with creative teams
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and derive actionable insights
  • Creative thinking with an analytical mindset
  • Proficiency in social media tools and analytics platforms
  • Experience in the education or technology industry is a plus
