BYITC (British Youth International College) is a UK-based educational institution dedicated to providing innovative learning programmes for children worldwide. As part of our cultural and community engagement initiatives, we are looking for a creative and culturally grounded Social Media Planner & Reels Editor to support our Rajasthani programmes.
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate individual with a deep understanding of Rajasthan's culture, traditions, festivals, and audience preferences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning social media content, developing creative concepts, and editing engaging short-form videos that effectively showcase our Rajasthani programmes and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage social media content, primarily on Instagram and other relevant platforms.
- Develop creative and culturally relevant ideas for Reels, Stories, and short-form videos.
- Edit engaging videos using storytelling techniques, music, captions, subtitles, and visual effects.
- Capture and highlight key moments from Rajasthani cultural programmes and events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to convert programme highlights into impactful digital content.
- Ensure all content authentically represents Rajasthani culture and traditions.
- Stay updated with social media trends and adapt them to regional storytelling.
- Monitor basic engagement metrics and suggest improvements to enhance reach, visibility, and audience engagement.
- Maintain consistency in branding, messaging, and visual identity.
Requirements:
- Must be born and brought up in Rajasthan with strong knowledge of local culture and traditions.
- Proven experience in social media planning, content creation, and Reels/video editing.
- Proficiency in editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, InShot, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of Instagram trends, audience engagement, and content performance.
- Excellent storytelling, creativity, and content planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Knowledge of Rajasthani dialects such as Marwari, Mewari, Shekhawati, or others will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on cultural, educational, community, or regional projects.
- Basic graphic design skills.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and performance tracking.
