We are inviting candidates for the position of:

Social Media Operations Executive

We are looking for a meticulous Social Media Executive to join Iris Singapore Team in supporting Samsung's global social media operations. The role will focus on content validation coordination and management, while supporting content management and community management with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across all key social media channels.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating fast-paced, cross-functional workflows. As the primary liaison with other stakeholders, you will be responsible for coordinating workflows and ensuring operational requirements are accurately communicated. This will provide many learning opportunities for anyone who loves all things social content and wants to build out their expertise in this field into a fledgling social media management career.

Job Description:

. Manage end-to-end content requests from local markets and content creators, ensuring all deliverables meet social media best practices, brand and platform requirements.

. Coordinate closely with HQ and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of content workflows and minimise operational gaps or errors.

. Track and maintain workflow statuses across multiple touchpoints and platforms to ensure timely delivery and accurate reporting.

. Review and validate content for brand alignment, platform suitability, compliance, and quality standards before publication.

. Identify key KOL content opportunities and proactively engage KOL and their communities through effective community management.

. Systematically catalogue and organise approved assets systematically for efficient retrieval, reporting, and future reuse.

. Maintain meticulous attention to detail to safeguard against content inaccuracies, permission issues, or asset mismanagement.

. Write, edit, and adapt social media copy in line with brand tone of voice and platform best practices.

. Publish and schedule content ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.

. Monitor conversations and support crisis management by identifying sensitive issues early and escalating risks appropriately.

Qualifications:

. Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields.

. Min. of 2-year experience in social media, community management, or account management roles.

. Strong written communication skills and a good sense of tone.

. Familiarity with Instagram features and best practices.

. Highly organised and comfortable managing manual, detail-heavy processes.

. Interest in mobile photography or tech brands is a plus.

. Meticulous, process-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

. Hands-on experience with social media management and analytics platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Brandwatch, or equivalent enterprise tools.

. While not a mandatory requirement, professional proficiency in Korean (spoken and written) would be beneficial, as this role may involve supporting Korean-speaking clients and collaborating with Korean-speaking client teams to facilitate effective communication and project delivery.
