Social Media Marketing Specialist

Vedam School of Technology is looking for a creative, strategic, and hands-on Social Media Executive to help us shape conversations around technology, education, and the future of learning. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to build a premium brand voice, engage Gen Z audiences, and translate ideas into impactful content across platforms.

You will play a key role in strengthening Vedam's digital presence and building a strong, authentic community across social media channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, develop, and execute social media strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Telegram.
2. Create platform-specific content and campaigns tailored to students, parents, educators, and the tech ecosystem.
3. Write compelling, on-brand copy for posts, captions, and campaigns that align with Vedam's vision and tone.
4. Conceptualise visual assets including static posts, reels, short videos, carousels, and PPT/PDF content and work along graphics and video team.
5. Actively manage social media communities by responding to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and thoughtful manner.
6. Track, analyse, and report performance metrics across platforms to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
7. Share actionable insights and recommendations to continuously optimize content and engagement.
8. Ensure consistency and alignment across all social media touchpoints while experimenting with new formats and trends.

Requirements

23 years of proven experience as a Social Media Executive or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Telegram content strategies.

Ability to balance creativity with data-driven decision making.

Experience using social media analytics and reporting tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Understanding and decent knowledge in graphic design tools and basic video editing software.

Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with marketing, content, and leadership teams.
