Overview

This role is part of The Cogent Team for the Social Media Manager position. The work will be vital in developing and implementing client social media strategies. Additionally, we seek a Social Media Manager & Executive to produce engaging and creative content for social media channels. You'll be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the entire social media management life cycle, from conception to analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Team & Client Management - Brand Strategy:

  • Manage a portfolio of 20 - 30 clients, including thee-commerce sector, ensuring their social media strategies align with their business goals.
  • Manage 10 to 15 Executives along with another supportive team of content creators, Graphic Designers, Motion Artists, etc.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering customized social media solutions.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to review performance, discuss strategies, and provide updates.
  • Reporting and monitoring for teamwork enhancement

Social Media Campaigns (SMC):

  • Create, manage, and optimize social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Develop engaging and innovative content that resonates with your target audience and drives meaningful engagement.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using analytics tools, making data-driven decisions to improve results.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Collaborate with the content team to produce high-quality visuals, videos, and written content.
  • Utilize your camera-facing skills to create compelling video content and live streams.
  • Schedule and publish posts, ensuring consistency and alignment with client branding and messaging.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends and platform updates to keep strategies fresh and compelling.

Strategy Development:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive analysis.
  • Develop comprehensive social media strategies tailored to clients unique needs and goals.
  • Implement and adjust strategies based on performance metrics and industry best practices.

Community Engagement:

  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive online community.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to enhance reach and credibility.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Prepare detailed performance reports for clients, highlighting key metrics, insights, and recommendations.
  • Use analytics tools to track progress and measure the success of social media initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a social media marketing Manager orsimilar role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms
  • Camera-facing skills with the ability to create engaging video content.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles is a plus.
