As a Social Media Intern, you will play a crucial role in expanding our organization's online presence and engaging with our community through various social media platforms. SKILLS REQUIRED:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

Experience in creating content for social media, including writing engaging captions and selecting compelling visuals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in managing and updating our organization's social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Create engaging and compelling content, such as posts, images, and videos, to promote our organization's mission and programs.

Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond in a timely and professional manner.

Collaborate with team members to develop social media campaigns and strategies to raise awareness, drive engagement, and increase followers.

Conduct research to identify trends and best practices in social media marketing for nonprofits.
