About the Role
We're looking for a creative, trend-savvy, and AI-friendly Social Media Marketing Manager who lives and breathes content.
If you're the kind of person who notices trending audio before everyone else, enjoys creating reels that stop people from scrolling, loves experimenting with new content formats, and knows how to turn ideas into engagement, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll be responsible for growing our social media presence across India and Scandinavia through compelling content, video storytelling, creator-style marketing, and community engagement. This role combines strategy, creativity, content production, and performance tracking—giving you the opportunity to make a real impact on a growing international education brand.
What You'll Be Doing
Social Media Growth & Management
- Own and manage our presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
- Plan and publish content that drives engagement, reach, and follower growth
- Stay on top of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends
- Monitor community interactions and help build an engaged online audience
- Experiment with new content formats and social media features
Content Creation & Design
- Create scroll-stopping content including:Reels, Carousels, Stories, Short-form videos, Memes (when relevant), Promotional and campaign creatives
- Design assets for both organic social media and paid advertising campaigns
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels
- Turn student stories, university partnerships, and industry insights into engaging content
Video Production & Editing
- Create and edit content short-form videos
- Participate in and coordinate content shoots with students, counsellors, university partners, alumni, and creators
- Support scripting, storyboarding, shot planning, and content ideation
- Repurpose content into multiple formats for maximum reach
Content Strategy & Campaigns
- Assist in developing monthly content calendars
- Brainstorm creative campaign concepts and content series
- Ensure content is delivered on time and optimized for each platform
Analytics & Performance
- Track content performance and audience insights
- Identify what is working, what isn't, and where opportunities exist
- Share regular performance updates and recommendations
- Use data to continuously improve content strategy and engagement
AI-Powered Marketing
- Use AI tools to accelerate content creation, ideation, design, editing, and reporting
- Bring fresh ideas on how AI can help us create better content faster
We're Looking For Someone Who...
- Is obsessed with social media, content trends, creator culture, and think differently
- Understands what makes content perform across different platforms
- Has strong design skills
- Is comfortable editing videos using CapCut, Canva, or similar tools
- Can convert boring information to more student-relatable content
- Is highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Is proactive, curious, and always experimenting with new ideas
- Is comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, Canva AI, CapCut AI, or similar platforms
- Experience in education, youth marketing, creator marketing, or study abroad marketing (preferred but not mandatory) is a plus
- Have personally built or grown a social media page, community, or content channel
