Social Media Marketing Intern

Job Overview:

We are looking for a high-energy, chronically online social media marketing intern to to drive community and Influencer Marketing efforts for Wiingy for US market. You are responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of creators from the first DM to the final video live-date.

This role is a mix of high-volume sales (outreach), creative production (scripting), and project management (logistics). If you understand US creator culture and can handle the grind of a fast-paced startup, this is your chance to build a world-class Ambassador Program.

This role is perfect for someone who has already seen success making content, either for themselves or a brand and wants to take that skill to the next level by building and engaging an active creator community.

Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Onsite (6 days a week)

What You Will Do:

1. High-Volume Scouting & Pipeline Management

• Deep-dive Sourcing: Scour TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube to identify relevant creators in the US, specifically focusing on tutors, students, productivity geeks, and mom-bloggers.
• Pipeline management: Maintain a massive, organized pipeline of potential creators. You are responsible for ensuring a pipeline of fresh, vetted pool of talent for sourcing.

2. The Outreach Grind & Relationship Management

• Outreach: Own the cold funnel. You will be outreaching using personalized DMs and emails daily to pitch the Wiingy Ambassador Program.
• Portfolio Ownership: You will own a specific set of creators. You are their main point of contact, answering questions, negotiating basic terms, and keeping them engaged from the first Hello to the final payout.

3. Content Ideation & Creative Briefing

• Hook-Heavy Briefs: You will design detailed creative briefs that include scroll-stopping hooks, use-case demonstrations (tutor sessions, platform ease), and strong Calls-to-Action (CTAs).
• Trend Adaptation: Constantly monitor US social trends and Life Hack tropes to adapt our briefs so the content feels native and organic, not like a boring ad.

4. Production Oversight & Quality Control

• The Reviewer Role: You are responsible for the first line of defense. You will review raw footage and edits, providing surgical feedback on lighting, pacing, and messaging.
• Brand Policing: Ensure all UGC meets Wiingy's brand standards while maintaining creator authenticity. You have the authority to approve production or send it back for.

5. Tracking, Logistics & Asset Management

• Performance Tracking: Update tracking sheets daily with UTM links, promo codes, and performance metrics (views, clicks, sign-ups).
• Asset Management: Organize all raw and final video files systematically so the Paid Media team can easily turn the best-performing UGC into paid ads.
• Closing the Loop: Manage the logistics of contract signings and ensure the finance team has everything needed for timely creator payouts.

What You Should Have

• US Market Native-Level Understanding: You understand US slang, trends, and the specific vibe that makes a video go viral on American TikTok vs. Instagram.
• Extreme Execution Orientation: You have a high bias for action. You enjoy the grind of outreach and the satisfaction of hitting daily volume targets.
• Exceptional Communication: Your written English is persuasive, professional, and can build rapport with creators across time zones.
• Operational Rigor: You are obsessed with organization. If a creator is late by 1 hour, you are already following up.
