Through research-based content, conversations, and digital outreach, we aim to bridge the gap between academic psychology and everyday life. Our goal is to build a platform where people can learn about mental health, relationships, emotions, and human behaviour in an informed and approachable way.

We are looking for a Social Media Intern who is curious about psychology, creatively inclined, and interested in helping us build meaningful and engaging content across our digital platforms.

Role Description

This is a Part-time online role for a Social Media Marketing Intern. You will play an important role in supporting our digital presence by creating engaging content, identifying relevant trends in psychology-related media, and assisting with the planning and execution of our social media strategy. This role requires someone who is creative, observant of online trends, organized, and enthusiastic about psychology and digital storytelling.

Please note: This is an unpaid internship intended for individuals who want to gain experience in psychology-focused digital communication and social media strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create creative and visually engaging Instagram creatives and posts related to psychology and mental health topics
  • Research and identify trending psychology-related reels, content formats, and social media trends
  • Assist a team member in building and maintaining a social media content calendar
  • Support the planning of weekly and monthly content ideas
  • Help with posting and scheduling content on Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Monitor engagement and observe what type of psychology content resonates with audiences
  • Contribute creative ideas for making psychology content more engaging and relatable

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in psychology, mental health awareness, and digital content
  • Creativity and an eye for aesthetic, engaging social media content
  • Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, and short-form video trends
  • Basic understanding of content planning and social media calendars is a plus
  • Good written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a small team
