The Resilient Foundation (TRF) is a Social Purpose, Non-Profit organization specializing in disaster management and climate change adaptation and mitigation. Since its inception in 2018, TRF has positively impacted over 15,000 individuals through its grassroots programs and initiatives. Based in the Palghar district, India, TRF provides training services across the country, working with corporations, schools, government institutions, and global organizations like UNICEF and RedR. With a focus on Disaster Risk Management, First Aid, Emergency Preparedness, and similar training, TRF aims to foster resilience in communities, including its flagship Comprehensive School Safety Program. TRF is part of several global networks, such as ADRRN, GNDR, and Catalyst 2030.
Role Description
This is a volunteer remote position for a Social Media Marketing Intern at The Resilient Foundation. The intern will be responsible for creating and scheduling engaging social media content, growing our online presence, and developing strategies to effectively communicate the organization's mission. Additional tasks include assisting in executing digital marketing campaigns, creating graphics or visuals for social media platforms, and monitoring analytics to improve engagement. The intern will closely collaborate with team members to ensure all content aligns with TRF's mission and values.
Qualifications
- Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation skills
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing, Marketing, and Online Campaign Management
- Strong written and verbal Communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines in a remote setting
- Proficiency in social media platforms and basic graphic design tools is a plus
- Passion for environmental sustainability, disaster management, or community resilience is highly valued
