Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging content including graphics, captions, and short-form videos for social media posts.
- Monitor social media channels and engage with followers by responding to comments and messages.
- Research trending topics, hashtags, and industry news to keep content relevant and timely
- Help plan and execute social media campaigns and contests
- Track and analyze social media metrics and prepare performance reports
- Collaborate with the marketing team on content calendars and campaign planning
- Assist in influencer outreach and community management activities
- Stay updated on social media best practices and emerging platform features
Qualifications
Required:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and visual content
- Basic knowledge of Canva, or similar design and video editing tools
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn
Preferred:
- Previous internship or project experience in social media marketing
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools
- Basic video editing skills
- Knowledge of current social media trends and viral content
- Portfolio of personal or professional social media work
