We're Hiring: Social Media Marketing Intern

At Thangam Group, we're looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Marketing Intern who can help us tell our story, create engaging content, and build our digital presence.

What you'll be doing

Content Ideation: Brainstorm creative content ideas for Instagram and other social media platforms.
Reel Shooting & Editing: Plan, shoot and edit engaging short-form videos, behind-the-scenes content and reels.
Content Calendar: Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting.
Trend Research: Identify relevant social media trends, formats, audio and creative opportunities.
Performance Analysis: Track content performance, understand what's working and what's not, and suggest improvements.
Execution: Take ownership of content from idea to publication, working closely with the team to bring ideas to life.

What we're looking for

A creative thinker who can generate fresh, relevant content ideas.
Someone comfortable shooting videos on a phone and editing reels.
Familiarity with Instagram, Reels and current social media trends.
An understanding of content engagement, reach, views and other performance metrics.
Someone proactive, organised and willing to experiment, learn and take ownership.
Prior experience or a portfolio is a plus, but a strong creative mindset matters more.
