Social Media Marketing Intern

Job Description:

As a Social Media and Events Intern at Student Circus, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and assisting in the planning and execution of various events. This internship is designed to provide you with practical skills in social media marketing and event coordination while fostering creativity and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management:

o Assist in developing and implementing social media content strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

o Create engaging and visually appealing social media posts, including text, images, and videos.

o Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with our online community.

o Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

2. Content Creation:

o Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and create compelling content for our social media accounts.

o Participate in content planning sessions and contribute fresh ideas for campaigns.

o Edit and proofread content for accuracy and brand consistency.

3. Event Support:

o Assist in the planning and organization of company events, webinars, and workshops.

o Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and materials preparation.

o Aid in the promotion of events through social media channels and email marketing campaigns.

o Provide on-site support during events, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.

4. Community Engagement & Customer Support

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).

• Creative thinking and an eye for design with basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Enthusiastic, proactive, and a quick learner.

• Previous experience in social media marketing or event planning is a plus but not required.
