About The Role
As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will be the voice of our brand across various digital platforms. You will work directly with our marketing team to brainstorm campaigns, create engaging content, and interact with our growing community. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and brand management.
Key responsibilities
- Content Creation: Design engaging graphics, write compelling captions, and shoot short-form videos (Reels) tailored to our target audience.
- Platform Management: Schedule and publish daily posts across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
- Community Engagement: Monitor comments and direct messages, responding promptly to foster a positive brand community.
- Trend Spotting: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, audio clips, and viral formats to keep our content relevant.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and assist in creating weekly performance reports.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite is a huge plus).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A proactive, creative mindset with the ability to brainstorm fresh ideas.
