About the RoleWe are looking for a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented Social Media Marketing Intern to join our marketing team. This role combines social media marketing and content creation, providing hands-on experience in building brand presence, creating engaging content, managing social platforms, and supporting digital marketing campaigns.
You will work closely with the marketing and design teams to develop content, execute social media strategies, analyze performance, and contribute to the company's online growth across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in planning and executing social media and digital marketing campaigns.
- Create engaging content including social media posts, reels, videos, graphics, blogs, and other marketing materials.
- Manage and support social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter/X.
- Assist with content ideation, scripting, storyboarding, and campaign planning.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop content calendars and posting schedules.
- Create visual assets including social media creatives, banners, thumbnails, infographics, and promotional materials.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all content.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics such as reach, engagement, impressions, and follower growth.
- Support basic SEO and content optimization activities.
- Stay updated on social media trends, content formats, platform updates, and digital marketing best practices.
- Attend team meetings, Google Meet discussions, and review sessions as required.
Required Skills- Strong understanding of social media platforms and current content trends.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Canva and basic graphic design principles.
- Familiarity with video editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar software.
- Creative mindset with strong storytelling and visual communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to feedback.
- Access to a laptop and stable internet connection.
Preferred Skills- Experience managing social media accounts or creating content for personal, academic, or professional projects.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and management tools.
- Basic understanding of SEO, content marketing, or digital advertising.
- Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Google Ads, or similar marketing tools.
- Experience creating short-form video content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or TikTok.
- Portfolio or examples of previous content creation work (preferred).
Educational Qualifications- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Media, Communication, Journalism, Design, Business, or a related field.
- Students and fresh graduates from other disciplines with strong content creation and social media skills are welcome to apply.
