Job Description

We're a small indie game studio Kalp and are building Raahi, a cozy narrative driving game set in 1990s Goa. You play a tuk-tuk driver. You pick up passengers. You get to know the people who get in. Launching on Steam in 2027.

We need a Marketing Intern for the next 2-3 months to own our social presence and drive Steam wishlists.

If the work is good, this becomes a permanent role. We are looking for the person who runs Raahi's marketing through launch.

Get Steam wishlists up. That's the only number that matters.

- What you'll do:

  • Run our Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube (3-4 posts/week)
  • Write briefs our video editor can execute (no editing required, we have someone)
  • Run our Twitter/X with daily scheduled posts and real-time replies
  • Reddit outreach when there's something worth posting
  • DM micro-creators in the cozy/narrative game space and track wishlist conversions
  • Maintain our reel-analysis spreadsheet weekly
  • Friday reports on wishlists added and what's working
  • Make 1 carousel post per week

- The voice we want to build:

We are obsessed with brand accounts that sound like a person, not a marketing team. Mumbai Police, Ryanair, Surf Excel quote pages, Duolingo, Aldi UK, Wendy's, Zomato India, Netflix India.

Look at what they all share:

  • Mumbai Police turned a government handle into a stand-up routine, they comment on movies, memes, and pop culture and somehow still make you respect them more.
  • Ryanair roasts its own customers on TikTok and people thank them for it.
  • Surf Excel quote pages built a meme empire by hijacking a hyper-earnest template and flipping it.
  • Duolingo turned a green owl into a cult character with timing alone.
  • Aldi UK trolled M&S in court and turned it into content.
  • Wendy's redefined what a corporate Twitter could be.
  • Zomato and Netflix India proved an Indian brand can be globally funny while staying culturally specific.

The thread connecting all of them they sound like a human with taste who is genuinely online. Not a brand pretending to be one. We want Raahi's social to sit in this family.

-On AI tools:

Use them. Claude, ChatGPT, whatever helps you ideate faster. We are not precious about this.

Hard line: no AI-generated visuals, ever. Every image and video frame is made by a human. That's who we are as a studio.

-Who we want:

  • A professional doomscroller who spots trends 48 hours before they peak
  • Strong short-form writing, hooks that stop the scroll, captions that drive saves
  • Pattern recognition, you can articulate why a post went viral without using the word relatable
  • Conversion thinking, you know the difference between views and wishlists
  • Familiarity with cozy/narrative games (Coffee Talk, A Short Hike, Spiritfarer, Venba, witchbrook)

-What you won't do:

  • Edit videos, we have an inhouse video editor
  • Design graphics except weekly post
  • Generate AI art
  • Sit in 4-hour meetings
  • Wait for approval on every post
