About the Role:
AMEC Codex Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and social-media-savvy Social Media Intern to join our team in Bangalore. The intern will support the marketing team in managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, developing social media campaigns, researching trends, and increasing brand visibility and engagement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys content creation, social media trends, storytelling, and digital marketing and wants to gain practical experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the company's social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Create engaging content including posts, reels, stories, captions, and short-form videos.
- Assist in planning and maintaining the social media content calendar.
- Research current social media trends, hashtags, topics, and competitor activities.
- Support the development and execution of social media campaigns.
- Write creative and engaging captions, content, and promotional copy.
- Coordinate with the creative and marketing team for content requirements.
- Assist in basic photo and video editing using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, or similar platforms.
- Monitor social media engagement, comments, messages, and audience interactions.
- Track and prepare basic reports on reach, engagement, followers, and content performance.
- Assist with brainstorming new content ideas to improve brand awareness and audience engagement.
- Stay updated with emerging social media trends, formats, and digital marketing practices.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Social Media, Content Creation, and Digital Marketing.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and their content formats.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, or other content creation tools is an advantage.
- Ability to understand social media trends and create relevant content.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
