About the job 

We're looking for someone who understands how to keep a brand active, responsive, and engaging.

As a Social Media Marketing and Content Creation Intern, your role is to manage SortMyScene's and our clients day-to-day Instagram presence and brand identity by creating content.

Success in this role will be determined by consistent activity, strong engagement, and smooth communication with our online community.

Responsibilities

  • Create, shoot, and edit reels and short-form content for SortMyScene and our clients.
  • Manage daily Instagram stories & posts for SortMyScene and our clients.
  • Maintain a strong online presence and ensure the brand feels alive & active.
  • Coordinate with design/ content teams for content execution.
  • Engage with creators, organisers, venues, and audiences to support community growth. 
  • Track engagement metrics and share weekly insights.
  • Plan and update monthly content calendars with the team.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Instagram trends, content formats, and audience engagement.
  • Excellent written communication (Gen-Z friendly and professional language when needed).
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience with content ideation, shooting, and editing reels is preferred.
  • Comfortable creating on-camera content when required.
  • Prior experience handling social media accounts is a plus.
