Job Title: Social Media Manager & Video Editor (Part-Time)
Overview
We're hiring a Social Media Manager & Video Editor to take ownership of content production, social media management, and paid ad performance for a growing wellness-focused brand.
This role is ideal for someone who can transform raw footage into high-performing content, manage day-to-day social media execution, and build paid advertising campaigns from the ground up. You'll work closely with a founder-led brand where content is the primary growth engine.

- Tools: CapCut / Adobe Premiere / Final Cut Pro, Instagram, TikTok, Meta Ads Manager, Canva or similar
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Editing & Content Production (Primary Focus)
- Edit raw video footage into polished, platform-ready content
- Produce short-form videos (Reels, TikToks) optimized for performance
- Create promotional and product-focused content
- Develop founder-led content (e.g., day-in-the-life, trends, storytelling)
- Ensure all content is on-brand, captioned, and ready for posting
2. Social Media Management
- Manage and publish content across Instagram and TikTok
- Maintain a consistent and strategic posting schedule
- Write captions, hashtags, and platform-appropriate copy
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments where needed
- Flag important interactions or insights to the founder
3. Paid Ads Management & Performance Tracking
- Set up and launch paid campaigns (Meta Ads Manager and other platforms)
- Track and analyze performance (spend, reach, clicks, conversions, revenue)
- Provide clear, actionable performance summaries
- Optimize campaigns based on data (creative, targeting, budget)
- Identify underperforming ads early and recommend improvements
- Establish a consistent reporting cadence
4. Marketing Strategy & Influencer Support
- Contribute to overall content and growth strategy
- Identify trends and opportunities across platforms
- Support influencer outreach (research, communication, tracking)
- Recommend what content should be scaled via paid ads
- Bring industry awareness and audience understanding into strategy
Requirements
Must-Have
- 2+ years of video editing experience (short-form content portfolio required)
- Experience managing social media accounts professionally
- Hands-on experience with paid social ads (Meta Ads Manager minimum)
- Strong written English (captions, ad copy, reporting)
- Familiarity with AI tools for content, workflows, or analysis
- Ability to work PST-aligned hours with consistent overlap
Nice to Have
- Experience in wellness, lifestyle, or regulated industries
- Influencer or creator partnership experience
- Familiarity with TikTok Shop or creator platforms
- Experience with founder-led or personal brand content
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe tools)
