Social Media Manager

This isn't a post three times a week and call it a day role.

We're looking for someone who understands that social media isn't about filling calendars. It's about building brands that people remember.

If you're someone who notices trends before they become trends, thinks in hooks, understands why a Reel worked (or didn't), and can confidently turn ideas into content that performs, we'd love to meet you.

At Sociomark, you'll work with brands across industries, brainstorm with creative minds, challenge ideas, experiment often, and most importantly, create content with purpose, not just for the algorithm.

What you'll actually be doing

  • Own the social media strategy for multiple brands from planning to execution.
  • Build monthly content calendars that balance creativity with business objectives.
  • Write captions that sound human, not robotic.
  • Work closely with designers, video editors, performance marketers, and client servicing teams to bring campaigns to life.
  • Spot trends, adapt them quickly, and know when not to jump on every trend.
  • Present ideas confidently to clients and explain the thinking behind them.
  • Track what's working, what's not, and use insights to improve future content.
  • Keep an eye on competitors, industry conversations, and emerging platforms.
  • Manage communities by responding thoughtfully and helping brands build genuine relationships with their audience.

We're probably looking for you if...

  • You have 2 to 4 years of experience managing social media for brands or agencies.
  • You understand that every platform has a different audience and content style.
  • You know how to build a content strategy instead of simply scheduling posts.
  • You can write compelling copy and brief designers or creators with clarity.
  • You enjoy brainstorming and aren't afraid to pitch bold ideas.
  • You're comfortable using analytics to make creative decisions.
  • You can handle multiple brands without compromising quality.
  • You stay curious and are always learning what's new in the digital space.

Bonus points if you...

  • Have agency experience.
  • Have worked with Interior, lifestyle, hospitality, food & beverage, real estate, or retail brands.
  • Can identify content opportunities just by observing what's happening around you.
  • Have basic knowledge of paid social campaigns and influencer marketing.
  • Create content yourself or genuinely enjoy consuming great content.

What success looks like

This role isn't measured by how many posts go live.

It's measured by:

  • Brands growing stronger online.
  • Content people genuinely engage with.
  • Ideas that clients get excited about.
  • Campaigns that deliver results.
  • And a team that trusts you to lead social media conversations.
