We are looking for a creative and result-oriented Social Media Manager who can manage our online presence, create impactful content, grow our audience, and support fundraising campaigns through strong storytelling.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Social Media Manager who will be responsible for planning, creating, posting, and managing content across all social media platforms. The candidate should be able to understand emotional stories, convert them into engaging posts, reels, videos, and campaign updates, and build trust with donors and supporters.
The ideal candidate should have experience in social media strategy, content planning, copywriting, reels coordination, performance tracking, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage True Hope Foundation's social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
- Create monthly social media calendars for campaigns, festivals, donor updates, success stories, and awareness posts.
- Write engaging captions, hooks, video scripts, post copy, and campaign updates.
- Coordinate with the content, video editing, design, fundraising, and field teams for regular content creation.
- Plan and execute reels, short videos, donor impact stories, success stories, and NGO updates.
- Increase followers, engagement, reach, and online visibility of True Hope Foundation.
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and donor queries on social media platforms.
- Track social media performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
- Research trending formats, reels, hashtags, social media trends, and competitor activities.
- Work closely with the marketing team to support paid campaigns and organic fundraising efforts.
- Maintain brand tone, emotional storytelling, and credibility across all platforms.
- Ensure timely posting during important festivals, disaster relief campaigns, emergency medical cases, and special fundraising drives.
- Build community trust through regular updates, donor thank-you posts, impact videos, and transparency-based content.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in social media management.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and social media growth strategies.
- Excellent writing skills for captions, hooks, reels scripts, and campaign storytelling.
- Good understanding of content planning, social media calendars, and post scheduling.
- Experience in reels, short-form videos, and viral content formats.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, and social media analytics tools.
- Ability to understand emotional NGO stories and convert them into powerful digital content.
- Good understanding of audience engagement, hashtags, trends, and platform algorithms.
- Ability to coordinate with designers, editors, content writers, and field teams.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in NGO, fundraising, social impact, healthcare, animal welfare, or cause-based marketing.
- Experience in managing high-engagement pages or large social media communities.
- Basic understanding of Meta Ads and paid social media campaigns.
- Knowledge of influencer collaboration and social media partnerships.
- Ability to create Hindi and English content will be preferred.
- Experience in crisis communication and emergency campaign updates will be an added advantage.
