Job Description: Social Media & Content Manager

Location: Thrill Factory, Shivpuri, Rishikesh

Department: Marketing / Digital Media

Reports To: Management / Business Head

About the Role

Thrill Factory is looking for a creative and responsible Social Media & Content Manager to manage the company's in-house content creators, handle day-to-day digital marketing activities, and coordinate with outsourced social media agencies or freelancers.

The person will be responsible for planning, supervising, and improving content across various social media platforms to promote Thrill Factory's adventure activities, guest experiences, events, offers, and brand image.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Team Management

The candidate will be responsible for managing the internal team of content creators, photographers, videographers, editors, and social media executives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning daily, weekly, and monthly content schedules
  • Assigning tasks to content creators
  • Coordinating shoots at Thrill Factory activities and locations
  • Ensuring high-quality photos, videos, reels, stories, and posts are created regularly
  • Reviewing content before posting
  • Maintaining the brand's tone, look, and feel across all content
  • Ensuring timely delivery of edited content

2. Social Media Platform Management

The person will manage and monitor Thrill Factory's presence across platforms such as:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • YouTube
  • Google Business Profile
  • WhatsApp marketing
  • LinkedIn, if required
  • Other travel, tourism, or adventure-related platforms

Responsibilities include:

  • Posting reels, stories, shorts, posts, and updates regularly
  • Creating engaging captions and hashtags
  • Responding to comments and messages or coordinating responses with the team
  • Tracking follower growth, engagement, reach, and enquiries
  • Promoting seasonal offers, packages, events, and experiences
  • Ensuring all platforms stay active and updated

3. Digital Marketing & Campaign Planning

The candidate will help in planning and executing online marketing campaigns for Thrill Factory.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning social media campaigns for adventure activities, group bookings, corporate outings, school trips, weekends, festivals, and holiday seasons
  • Coordinating paid promotions with the outsourced team
  • Monitoring leads generated from social media platforms
  • Suggesting new digital marketing ideas to increase footfall and brand visibility
  • Tracking campaign performance and sharing reports with management

4. Outsourced Social Media Team Management

Thrill Factory may work with external agencies, editors, designers, influencers, or digital marketing teams. The candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating with them.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sharing briefs with outsourced teams
  • Reviewing creatives, videos, captions, and campaign plans
  • Ensuring deadlines are met
  • Coordinating approvals from management
  • Checking whether outsourced work matches the brand's requirements
  • Monitoring paid ad performance with the agency
  • Maintaining proper communication between internal and external teams

5. Brand Building & Guest Experience Content

The candidate should actively identify moments and opportunities that can be used for content creation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Capturing guest experiences, testimonials, adventure activities, events, and behind-the-scenes content
  • Creating content around safety, adventure, fun, nature, team outings, and travel experiences
  • Highlighting Thrill Factory as a premium adventure and entertainment destination
  • Coordinating influencer visits and collaborations
  • Ensuring the brand image remains exciting, professional, safe, and trustworthy

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, reels, stories, and short-form video content
  • Experience in managing content creators or social media teams
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing and online promotions
  • Ability to coordinate with agencies, freelancers, influencers, and internal teams
  • Basic understanding of paid ads and campaign performance
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Creative thinking with an eye for visuals and trends
  • Ability to work on-site in an adventure/outdoor environment
  • Strong planning and follow-up skills

Preferred Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in social media, content management, digital marketing, hospitality, tourism, events, adventure parks, resorts, or lifestyle brands
  • Experience managing Instagram reels, YouTube shorts, influencer content, and paid campaigns
  • Experience working with photographers, videographers, editors, and agencies

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal qualification

  • Salary ( CTC ) : 18 - 30 Lakhs
