Social Media Manager

What You'll Do

● Own and execute NestAway's social media strategy and content calendar across

Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.

● Develop social-first content ideas around renting, sharing rooms, roommates, moving

cities, first-job experiences, rental problems, and urban living.

● Conceptualise and execute Reels, carousels, memes, stories, static posts,

short-form videos, and campaigns.

● Stay on top of trending formats, memes, sounds, conversations, and cultural moments

and identify opportunities for NestAway to participate organically.

● Build content that is relatable, entertaining, informative, and shareable, especially for

students, young professionals, and people moving to new cities.

● Work closely with the creative, performance, and business teams to develop integrated

campaigns.

● Manage NestAway's social channels, including comments, DMs, and audience

conversations.

● Develop and manage creator/influencer collaborations to increase reach and brand

awareness.

● Track competitors and identify content opportunities within the real estate, rental, PG,

coliving, and lifestyle space.

● Monitor social media performance and provide regular insights and recommendations.

● Use analytics to understand what content works and continuously improve the content

strategy.

● Support product launches, city launches, offers, campaigns, and other marketing

initiatives through social media.

● Maintain consistency in NestAway's brand voice, messaging, and visual identity

across platforms.

What We're Looking For

● 3–4+ years of hands-on experience in social media marketing/management.

● Experience managing social media for a consumer-facing brand; experience in real

estate, rental, hospitality, travel, lifestyle, fintech, D2C, or similar categories is a plus.

● Strong understanding of Instagram and short-form video content, especially Reels.

● A strong understanding of social media trends, memes, internet culture, and

Gen-Z/young professional audiences.

● Ability to independently come up with fresh content ideas and social media

campaigns.

● Strong copywriting and communication skills.

● Understanding of social media analytics, engagement metrics, reach, impressions,

views, shares, saves, and audience growth.

● Experience working with influencers and content creators.

● Ability to manage multiple projects and work with internal teams, agencies, designers,

and video editors.

● Someone who is highly curious about what is happening on the internet and can quickly

• turn trends into relevant brand content.

Good to Have

● Experience in building or growing a consumer brand's Instagram presence.

● Basic understanding of Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, or other content

creation/editing tools.

● Experience with social media management and analytics platforms.

● Experience running or supporting social-first campaigns.

● Strong understanding of paid + organic social media is an advantage.
