About Takshila

Takshila is a peer-to-peer luxury collectible and co-fabrication platform connecting discerning buyers with independent designers and artisans across jewelry, perfumes, apparel, and furniture. Our AI Design Studio lets users co-create one-of-a-kind pieces alongside makers — starting with jewelry, expanding into new categories over time. We're building for a US audience that values provenance, craftsmanship, and creative ownership over mass-produced luxury.

The Role

We're looking for a Social Media Manager Intern to help bring Takshila's brand voice to life across Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. You'll work closely with the growth team to execute a content calendar built around real commissions, design psychology, and behind-the-scenes craftsmanship not generic lifestyle posts. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real ownership over a brand's public voice, not just scheduling posts.

What you will do

  • Plan and execute a weekly content calendar across Instagram and LinkedIn and Tik Tok, aligned to Takshila's content pillars (craftsmanship stories, design psychology, buyer journeys, artisan spotlights, etc.)
  • Draft captions, carousel copy, and short-form video concepts that reflect Takshila's positioning — co-fabrication, cultural specificity, provenance —without leaning on generic luxury-marketplace language
  • Track performance (reach, saves, engagement, follower growth) and apply a fast feedback loop — culling or doubling down on formats within 72 hours of posting
  • Monitor and respond to comments and DMs within the first hour of posting to drive early engagement signals
  • Support the repurposing flywheel turning long-form content (blogs, commission case studies) into short-form posts across platforms
  • Assist with sourcing and coordinating UGC or artisan/buyer stories for real, documented commissions
  • Stay on top of platform trends (Reels formats, LinkedIn carousel structures, etc.) and suggest test-and-learn ideas
  • Help maintain a simple analytics dashboard/report on what's working

What we are looking for

  • Strong writing skills and a good eye for visual storytelling
  • Genuine interest in design, craftsmanship, or luxury/creator-economy brands
  • Familiarity with Instagram and LinkedIn content formats (Reels, carousels, native video)
  • Comfortable working with tools like Canva, CapCut, or similar (Figma/Framer familiarity a plus)
  • Self-starter who can work with minimal hand-holding and take actual ownership of output
  • Bonus: experience with analytics tools (Pallyy, Metricool, or similar), basic copywriting portfolio, or prior social media management for a brand/creator

What you will get

  • Direct mentorship from the Chief Growth Officer on brand strategy and growth
  • Real ownership of a growing luxury brand's social presence not just execution, but a say in strategy
  • Exposure to end-to-end GTM, from content to conversion
  • Certificate/LOR and potential for a full-time offer based on performance
