Job Description

Role Description: We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can own and grow our social media presence end-to-end. This role is ideal for someone who understands content, distribution, and audience behavior, especially in the context of podcasts, thought leadership, and brand storytelling. The role also offers the opportunity to experiment with and scale new platforms as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Own the social media strategy for all brand channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
  • Plan and manage monthly content calendars aligned with brand, marketing, and podcast goals
  • Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity across platforms

Podcast & Content Amplification

  • Lead social media distribution for the podcast:
  • Episode announcements
  • Short-form clips, audiograms, reels, and carousels
  • Guest amplification and collaboration posts
  • Work closely with content, design, and video teams to repurpose long-form content into high-performing social formats

Platform Growth & Experimentation

  • Identify opportunities to expand into new platforms (e.g., YouTube Shorts, Threads, new emerging channels)
  • Test formats, posting times, and content styles to improve reach and engagement
  • Stay updated with platform trends, algorithm changes, and best practices

Community and Engagement

  • Manage comments, DMs, and community interactions in a professional and timely manner
  • Build relationships with followers, partners, podcast guests, and industry voices
  • Represent the brand's voice with credibility and sensitivity (especially for healthcare content)

Performance & Reporting

  • Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, conversions)
  • Share regular insights and recommendations for content and channel optimization
  • Align social media KPIs with broader marketing and brand objectives

Desired Profile

  • 25 years of experience managing brand or creator social media accounts
  • Proven experience with podcasts, video-first content, or thought leadership brands (strong plus)
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn and Instagram; experience with YouTube and X/Twitter is a plus
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing hands-on
  • Excellent copywriting skills with an understanding of platform-specific tone
  • Experience working with designers, video editors, and content writers
