As a Social Media Manager at Gemius, your role is to lead and oversee the end-to-end social media strategy and execution for assigned brands. You are responsible for driving performance, ensuring publishing discipline, guiding junior team members, and maintaining creative and brand alignment. You're expected to plan proactively, manage cross-functional coordination, and ensure timely, high-quality content goes live as per calendar.

Strategic Planning & Calendar Ownership
  • Lead the monthly planning for all social handles under your care.
  • Ensure the calendar includes campaign hooks, post formats, and aligned references.
  • Suggest ideas that elevate brand voice and align with overall campaign strategy.

  • Execution Oversight
    • Ensure every published post is reviewed for SOP adherence – correct captions, hashtags, formats, and platform compatibility.
    • Maintain brand tone, voice, and content accuracy at all times.

    Team Collaboration & Supervision
    • Brief designers, writers, and motion editors clearly and on time.
    • Take responsibility for timely publishing by coordinating proactively and guiding where necessary.
    • Review work submitted by associates and ensure necessary improvements are made before posting.
    • Coordinate directly with clients to ensure social media efforts meet their expectations and align with overall brand objectives.

  • Ownership & Escalation Handling
    • If content is delayed due to internal gaps, find alternative solutions and ensure timely posting.
    • Take full ownership of account timelines, raise red flags early, and track execution regularly.
    • Proactively communicate with Brand Managers and team leads in case of blocks or dependencies.

  • Platform Awareness & Innovation
    • Stay updated with platform trends and suggest experimental formats to elevate content.
    • Push for innovation in reels, carousels, and trending content to drive engagement.
