We're looking for a Social Media Manager & Copywriter who thinks like a journalist and writes like a comedian.
If you've written headlines that actually got read, scripts that felt real, or jokes that landed without trying too hard then this role is for you. If you are someone who understands why something went viral and why something didn't.
Someone who can spot a story in everyday life, simplify complex ideas, and make people stop scrolling - sometimes to think, sometimes to laugh, always to engage.
This role sits at the heart of our brand storytelling. You'll write work that lives across feeds, films, screens, and campaigns - and speaks directly to a generation figuring life out, one move at a time.
You will be expected to be part storyteller, part strategist and part executor.
What You'll Do
- Write high-impact copy across formats: social media posts, reels scripts, ads, brand campaigns, films, product messaging, emails, and landing page
- Craft short-form content across push notifications, emails, app banners, and in-app messaging
- Turn insights, news, pop culture, and real-life observations into relatable, sharp content
- Create humour-led and insight-led narratives that feel smart, not gimmicky
- Work closely with designers, video editors, creators, and marketers to bring ideas to life
- Adapt brand voice across tones - witty, emotional, explanatory, persuasive
- Write fast, rewrite faster, and polish relentlessly Participate in brainstorms and contribute original campaign ideas, not just lines
You're a Great Fit If You Have
- A background in journalism, editorial, media, comedy writing, satire, or scripting
- Strong instincts for headlines, hooks, and storytelling
- Understanding of meme culture, internet humour, and platform behaviour
- Ability to simplify complex topics without dumbing them down
- Comfort writing for digital-first platforms (especially short-form video & social)
- An opinionated point of view but open to feedback and iteration
