Social Media Manager

About the role

One of my clients in Goa, is looking for a hands-on Social Media Manager to build a strong digital community and drive real growth app installs, movie views, and subscriptions. This is not a desk job. You'll be out in the field, creating spontaneous content, attending events, and bringing Goa's entertainment scene to life on Instagram.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute daily Instagram content — Reels, Stories, and Posts
• Write engaging captions that match brand voice
• Develop content around movies, tiatr, natak, ( konkani) and short films
• Shoot on-ground content at events, theatres, and public spaces (reactions, interviews)
• Drive measurable actions: app installs, views, and subscriptions
• Coordinate with creators, actors, and the internal team
• Stay ahead of trends, memes, and viral formats
• Engage actively with the audience — comments, DMs, polls

On-camera & field requirements

• Confident and comfortable on camera
• Willing to travel within Goa for shoots and events
• Able to engage with the public and create spontaneous, authentic content
• Fluent in English; Konkani is strongly preferred

What we're looking for

• Proven experience managing social media (Instagram strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of Reels and short-form video content
• Basic video editing skills — CapCut, VN, or Premiere
• Self-starter who can execute quickly and independently
• Good communication and people skills
• Konkani language skills are a significant advantage

Selection process

Shortlisted candidates will be given a sample task (a Reel concept + caption + idea) and asked to record a short on-camera video
