About the Role

We are looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to take ownership of our social media content—from *ideation and planning to execution, publishing and growth.

You will work closely with our Team to develop engaging content for our social media pages. The role involves planning content calendars, developing Reel concepts, scripting, coordinating photoshoots and videoshoots, managing day-to-day social media and continuously finding ways to grow our audience.

We are also looking for someone who understands AI-powered content creation and can use AI tools creatively for ideation, scripting, visual development, content creation and improving the overall content production process.

Key Responsibilities

Content Planning & Strategy

* Develop weekly and monthly social media content calendars.

* Plan content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant platforms.

* Develop content pillars and recurring content series.

* Balance brand, educational, entertaining, trending and promotional content.

* Continuously identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement and growth.

Content Ideation & Reels

* Come up with fresh, original and engaging content ideas.

* Develop concepts for Reels, videos, carousels, stories and static posts.

* Identify trending formats, sounds, memes and social media trends.

* Adapt relevant trends creatively to suit the brand.

* Develop strong hooks and storytelling ideas that can improve watch time and engagement.

Scripting & Copywriting

* Write scripts for Reels and short-form videos.

* Develop hooks, dialogues, storylines and CTAs.

* Write captions and social media copy.

* Work with the Video Editor to ensure scripts are effectively translated into final videos.

Photoshoots & Videoshoots

* Plan and coordinate photoshoots and videoshoots.

* Develop shoot concepts, references and shot lists.

* Coordinate with photographers, videographers, talent and internal teams.

* Be present during shoots when required and ensure the required content is captured.

* Build and maintain a library of relevant photo and video assets.

Working with Designer & Video Editor

* Brief the Designer and Video Editor with clear concepts and references.

* Manage the content production pipeline and timelines.

* Review creative outputs and provide constructive feedback.

* Ensure consistency in brand tone, communication and visual languAI Content Creation

* Use AI tools for content ideation, research, scripting and copywriting.

* Explore AI tools for *image generation, video generation, voiceovers, editing and creative development*.

* Use AI to create moodboards, visual references, storyboards and content prototypes.

* Identify ways AI can make content production faster and more efficient.

* Stay updated with emerging AI tools and content-creation techniques.

Social Media Management

* Manage day-to-day publishing across social media platforms.

* Schedule and publish content according to the content calendar.

* Manage Stories and platform-specific content.

* Monitor comments, engagement and audience responses.

* Maintain consistency in posting and communication.

Social Media Growth

* Take ownership of organic social media growth.

* Track reach, views, engagement, followers, shares, saves and other relevant metrics.

* Analyse which content formats and concepts are performing well.

* Experiment with new content formats and strategies.

* Use performance insights to continuously improve future content.

Trend & Competitor Research

* Stay updated with the latest social media trends and formats.

* Regularly research competitors and relevant brands.
