 We are looking for a creative and qualified Social Media Manager for Vishwakarma University, Pune who is passionate about crafting original and innovative content for University's social media platform, driven by thorough research and strategic planning. We want impactful content that will resonate with target audience, drawing on insights and trends to stay relevant and compelling. We need a person ready to take the responsibilities and challenging opportunities in order to exhaust his/her knowledge and skills to the fullest extent.

Job duties and responsibilities

Social Media Manager will be responsible for:

*  Managing social media accounts, including posting updates, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring trends.

*    Analysing social media performance metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly to improve engagement and reach.

*  Collaborating with other teams, such as marketing, PR, and customer service, to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.

* Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing

*  Building and maintaining relationships with influencers and other relevant stakeholders to amplify brand reach.

*    Website Management & Content Updates: Oversee day-to-day website maintenance, including regular updating, formatting, and publishing of content, news, events, and multimedia assets.

*    Technical Oversight: Maintain a working knowledge of both front-end (layout, UI/UX, visual presentation) and back-end (CMS administration, basic structure, functionality) website operations to ensure smooth digital performance and user experience.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

·       Any Bachelor's Degree

·       Expertise in copywriting, graphics, videos, community engagement, analytics

·       Excellent fluency of English and Marathi/Hindi language,

·       Effective communication skills.
