Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, multi-skilled Social Media Manager who can independently manage our hospital's entire digital presence — from crafting compelling visuals and editing engaging videos, to planning content calendars and growing our social media community. This is a high-impact, multitasking role for someone who lives and breathes digital content and understands the healthcare space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and schedule daily content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Design high-quality graphics, banners, posters, stories, and carousels for campaigns and awareness drives
  • Shoot, edit, and publish short-form videos, Reels, and YouTube Shorts for patient education and hospital promotions
  • Develop and execute a monthly content calendar aligned to hospital goals and healthcare events
  • Write compelling captions, scripts, and copy for posts, stories, and video voiceovers
  • Monitor, respond to, and manage comments, DMs, and reviews in a timely and professional manner
  • Run and manage paid social media ad campaigns (Meta Ads / Google Ads) and track ROI
  • Track analytics, prepare monthly performance reports, and suggest optimisation strategies
  • Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff for content accuracy, patient testimonials, and live session planning
  • Manage the hospital's WhatsApp Business account and digital communication channels
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, healthcare content regulations, and platform algorithm changes

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media, or a related field
  • 1–4 years of proven experience managing social media accounts (healthcare experience is a plus)
  • Proficient in design tools: Canva (mandatory), Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience in video editing using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools
  • Working knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and social media scheduling tools
  • Excellent written communication in Hindi and English — ability to write for both regional and national audiences
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices, SEO basics, and digital marketing principles
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work independently
  • Passion for healthcare communication, patient education, and responsible content creation
  • Basic photography / videography skills for on-site content capture (preferred)
