Job Description: Social Media Manager – Asset Management

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 2 to 5 years in Social Media Marketing / Management. Preferably with an Asset Management or Financial Services Firm.

Role Overview

360 ONE Asset is seeking a dynamic and digitally fluent Social Media Manager to lead our brand's presence across key social platforms.

In this role, you will be the voice of 360 ONE Asset Management online — crafting original, insight-driven content that builds brand awareness, drives engagement among sophisticated investors and financial intermediaries, and positions 360 ONE Asset as a thought leader in the asset management space. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a high-impact digital narrative at the intersection of finance and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content calendar aligned with business themes, product launches, market events, and regulatory milestones.
  • Conceptualise and produce original content — posts, reels, carousels, infographics, short-form videos, and thought leadership pieces — tailored for LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Translate complex financial concepts (Alternatives, PMS, SIF, Mutual Funds) into engaging, accessible narratives for both retail and HNI/UHNI audiences.
  • Collaborate with investment teams, fund managers, and senior leadership to surface insights and perspectives worth amplifying.

Brand Building & Awareness

  • Champion the 360 ONE brand voice consistently across all digital touchpoints.
  • Drive campaigns that reinforce brand salience — from product awareness to performance storytelling and market commentary.
  • Identify trends, cultural moments, and financial events to create timely and relevant content.

Community Management & Engagement

  • Monitor, moderate, and actively engage with audiences across platforms — responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a manner consistent with brand tone.
  • Build relationships with financial influencers, creators, and media communities to amplify reach.

Analytics & Performance

  • Track, analyse, and report on key social media KPIs including reach, engagement, follower growth, and content performance.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously optimise content strategy, posting cadence, and format mix.
  • Stay current with platform algorithm changes and adapt strategy accordingly.

AI-Powered Workflows

  • Leverage AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canva AI, Opus Clip) to accelerate content creation, research, and repurposing workflows.
  • Explore and experiment with emerging AI capabilities to enhance content quality and production efficiency.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing, compliance, legal, and investment teams to ensure content accuracy, regulatory adherence, and brand consistency.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, designers, and production vendors as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have

  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality original content across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and X.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and the asset management landscape.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a flair for simplifying complex financial concepts.
  • Proficiency with social media management and scheduling tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, or similar).
  • Solid grasp of social media analytics and performance reporting.
  • Working knowledge of AI content tools and a demonstrated curiosity to adopt new technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Good to Have

  • Prior experience in an asset management, mutual fund, or financial services firm.
  • Understanding of SEBI regulations and compliance norms relevant to financial content and advertising.
  • Experience with short-form video production and editing (Reels, Shorts-style content).
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and their application to social content.
  • Exposure to influencer marketing and financial creator ecosystems in India.
  • MBA or post-graduate qualification in Marketing or Finance.
