Role Description
The Social Media Manager & Graphics Designer will be responsible for planning and executing online marketing campaigns, managing social media, and creating visual content (static, video & ads) that builds brand awareness and generates leads.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across channels (Meta, Google, YouTube, email, website, marketplaces if any).
- Manage and grow social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.) including content planning, posting calendar and engagement.
- Run and optimize paid campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads) for traffic, leads and conversions, including basic performance tracking (CPC, CPA, ROAS, etc.).
- Perform SEO activities: keyword research, on-page optimization (titles, meta, blogs), and coordination for off-page activities.
- Design creatives for social media, ads, website banners, emailers, brochures, posters and other marketing collaterals using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Figma etc.
- Ensure brand consistency across all designs colors, fonts, logo usage, tone of voice and visual style.
- Track campaign and social media performance using tools like Meta insights, Google Analytics, and prepare basic weekly/monthly reports.
- Stay updated with latest digital marketing and design trends, platform algorithm changes, and propose new ideas to improve results.
Required skills & qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Media, Communication or any relevant field (or strong portfolio in place of degree).
- 35 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media management.
- Proficiency in design tools: Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / XD / Figma / Canva (mention exactly what you use in your company).
- Practical knowledge of Facebook/Instagram Ads Manager and Google Ads (campaign setup, basic optimization, and reporting).
- Basic understanding of SEO, content marketing and email marketing tools.
- Strong sense of visual aesthetics, typography, layout and color theory; ability to adapt designs to different formats and platforms.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, meet deadlines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
