Job Description

GVC is not an edtech company. We're where teenagers run real businesses, manage real money, and pitch to real adults mentored by alumni from Harvard, MIT, Stanford, and Columbia. Families across the world joined and almost none of them left. That kind of thing doesn't happen with average brands.

We need one person to own our entire brand presence. Not manage it. Own it.

What this role actually is:

You'll be the voice, the eye, and the strategist behind everything GVC puts out into the world. Social media, yes but also the larger question of how a category-creating brand shows up, speaks, and stays in people's heads. You'll build content that makes affluent parents stop scrolling and start questioning everything they assumed about their child's education.

This is a startup. There is no social media team waiting for your strategy deck. You think it, you make it, you post it, you measure it, you fix it. If you need someone to tell you what to post on Tuesday, this isn't your role.

You'll do:

Building and executing brand strategy from scratch positioning, voice, content pillars, audience mapping. Creating daily content across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, WhatsApp short form, long form, reels, carousels, stories. Capturing and packaging real student transformations into content that sells without selling. Running performance on campaigns when needed you understand what a CAC is and why it matters. Working directly with the founder not through three layers of approval.

You're right for this if:

You've built a brand's social presence before, not just posted on one. You can write a caption that makes someone feel something in two lines. You understand that premium doesn't mean polished it means precise. You've worked in a startup or founder-led environment and didn't break. You see content as strategy, not decoration. You can shoot, edit, write, and publish without waiting for a team to assemble. Bonus if you understand the Indian parent psyche aspiration, anxiety, status, love and know how to speak to all four simultaneously.

Not right if:

You think social media management means scheduling posts on Buffer. You need a brand guideline document before you can create anything. You've only worked in large teams with divided responsibilities. You see this as a content role. It isn't. It's a brand-building role with content as the primary weapon.

Details:

  • Location: Gurugram.

You'll have direct founder access, full creative ownership, and the chance to build the brand identity of something that's genuinely changing how world thinks about raising capable children.
