Role Description
This is a remote Social Media Manager internship opportunity. In this role, you'll get to manage our social media platforms, craft creative content strategies, and use social media optimization (SMO) techniques to boost engagement. You'll have the chance to create fun and engaging content and connect with our audience. Plus, you'll stay on top of trending topics and analyze data to help grow and strengthen our brand's online presence. We'd love to have you on board!
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Create engaging content (posts, reels, carousels, stories, shorts) for social media and website.
- Research and adapt trends to fit the brand.
- Manage community by responding to comments, DMs, and engagement opportunities.
- Suggest fresh content ideas weekly.
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, saves, shares) and prepare weekly reports.
- Analyze results and recommend improvements.
- Apply basic SEO best practices to captions, blog posts, and website content
Qualifications
- Strong interest in health, wellness, or nutrition.
- Skills in Canva/Photoshop and video editing tools (CapCut, InShot, etc.).
- Experience in developing and implementing effective Content Strategies
- Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content trends.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and optimize content accordingly
- Previous experience or relevant coursework in marketing or communications is a plus
