Social Media Manager

About the Role

We're looking for a creative and visually-driven Social Media Manager with a genuine interest in interior design, aesthetics, and spatial storytelling. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience managing social media for an interior design firm or related lifestyle brand, and a strong eye for composition, color, and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and schedule daily content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
• Develop content calendars aligned with project launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand pillars (portfolio, education, behind-the-scenes, client stories)
• Write engaging captions that reflect the brand voice—sophisticated, warm, and design-literate
• Coordinate photoshoots and video content with designers, photographers, and videographers to capture projects on-site
• Edit short-form video content (Reels, FB Reels, YouTube Shorts) using mobile or desktop tools
• Design on-brand graphics and templates in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Monitor analytics, track KPIs (engagement, reach, follower growth), and optimize content strategy monthly
• Engage with followers, respond to DMs and comments, and build an active design community
• Stay updated on interior design trends, platform algorithm changes, and visual content best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Social Media Manager in an interior design, architecture, or home/lifestyle brand
• Demonstrable portfolio or personal page showcasing interior design or aesthetics-focused content
• Strong visual sense with understanding of spatial composition, materials, lighting, and design trends
• Proficiency in content creation tools: Canva, CapCut, Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Pro (or similar)
• Excellent copywriting and communication skills in English (additional local languages are a plus)
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Basic photography and video editing skills are highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field
• Experience working with designers, architects, or real estate/lifestyle brands
• Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Loomly, Meta Business Suite, Later)
