Role Description The Social Media Management Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting Laneway's media and marketing initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with planning and scheduling social media content across multiple platforms, monitoring engagement and optimizing posts for reach and impact, and researching trends and competitor activity to inform content strategies. The intern will help draft captions and short-form content, support social media campaigns, and compile performance metrics and simple reports. Collaboration with the consulting and technology teams may be required to align messaging with broader business objectives.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO).
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills.
- Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy and basic content planning.
- Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook) and social media tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and a genuine interest in digital marketing and business growth.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
