Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, data-driven, and proactive Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist to build and strengthen Herrick Healthcare's brand presence across digital platforms. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and publishing high-quality visual, video, and written content to educate patients, promote diagnostic services/health packages, and drive community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Copywriting
• Conceptualize and draft educational, engaging, and promotional content across multiple formats (Reels, Shorts, visual posts, infographics, and carousel guides).
• Write clear, empathetic, and impactful copy/captions in English, Hinglish, and Odia (ଓଡ଼ିଆ) for maximum regional resonance.
• Translate complex health diagnostic concepts (e.g., preventive screening, blood analysis, outpatient specialties) into easy-to-understand social media posts and patient awareness campaigns.
• Design graphics, banners, and thumbnails using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Social Media Management & Strategy
• Manage day-to-day operations across all official channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile).
• Develop and maintain an active monthly content calendar aligned with healthcare awareness days, community events, and clinical campaigns.
• Monitor engagement, respond to patient queries/comments, and manage direct messages professionally.
• Plan and execute local digital awareness campaigns for diagnostic packages and clinic services.
• Video Production & Editing
• Plan, script, shoot, and edit short-form videos (Reels / YouTube Shorts) featuring lab walkthroughs, doctor tips, health awareness drives, and patient testimonials.
• Coordinate with clinicians and lab staff to capture authentic laboratory and healthcare facility footage.
• Analytics & Growth
• Track and analyze key performance metrics (reach, engagement, video views, and follower growth) using native platform insights.
• Optimize posting schedules and content strategies based on audience behavior and local health trends in Bhubaneswar.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Any related field
• Experience: 1 year of proven experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing (experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences is a strong plus).
• Language Proficiency: English, Hindi/Hinglish, and Odia (spoken and written).
  
  

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with social media tools (Instagram, Facebook Business Suite, YouTube Studio, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite).
• Hands-on experience with mobile/desktop video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro, InShot).
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, creative thinking, attention to detail, and empathy toward patient care.
