Job Description

iCliniq is looking for a strategic and hands-on Social Media Lead to own and scale our digital presence across platforms. This is a leadership role you'll be building and mentoring a team of content executives, shaping the overall social strategy, and directly influencing how millions of users experience iCliniq online. Open to both medical and non-medical candidates with strong leadership credentials.

Key Objectives

  • Own the social media roadmap across all platforms
  • Lead and mentor a team of social media executives
  • Drive audience growth, engagement, and brand authority
  • Align social strategy with SEO, content, and product goals
  • Build iCliniq's voice as a trusted healthcare destination

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a monthly and quarterly social media strategy
  • Lead content planning, calendar management, and campaign execution
  • Manage and review the output of the social media team
  • Drive platform growth across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter/X, Facebook, Pinterest, and Reddit
  • Collaborate with SEO, Research, Newsletter, and Product teams
  • Own performance reporting - weekly analytics, A/B test results, and monthly trend decks
  • Identify emerging platform opportunities and content formats
  • Ensure all content meets iCliniq's medical accuracy and brand guidelines
  • Present insights and strategy updates to senior leadership

Team Management

  • Directly manage 36 social media executives
  • Conduct weekly check-ins, performance reviews, and skill development sessions
  • Review and approve all content before it goes live

Eligibility

Medical Background: MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / Allied Health with demonstrated social/digital experience

Non-Medical Background: Marketing / Communications / Journalism / MBA with 2+ years in social media

Required Skills

  • Proven experience managing social media at scale (100K+ audience)
  • Strong content strategy and storytelling ability
  • Platform-level expertise: Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter/X
  • Analytics proficiency: Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics
  • Team leadership and cross-functional collaboration
  • Campaign planning and performance reporting

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in healthcare, edtech, or D2C brands
  • Tools: Canva, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social
  • SEO and paid social basics (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
  • Understanding of audience segmentation and community building
  • AI Tools: Willingness to explore and adopt AI tools for content ideation, caption writing, image generation, scheduling, and performance analysis (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva AI, and similar tools) - prior experience a strong plus
  • Strong personal or brand portfolio
