We are now expanding our brand and digital presenceand are looking for a creative, driven Social Media Intern to join our growing team and contribute to the storytelling behind our eVTOL program.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Social Media Intern to support our mission at Sarla Aviation. This person will assist in creating engaging content, managing online communities, and bringing fresh, Gen Z-friendly ideas to showcase the future of aviation. As a Social Media Intern, you will collaborate closely with our creative, engineering, and leadership teams to help build a strong, modern, and relatable brand across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and other platforms.

* Support in drafting captions, writing copy, and brainstorming creative storytelling ideas.

* Participate in shoots, behind-the-scenes capture, and on-ground content creation at our facilities.

* Monitor social media channels, track engagement, and help manage community responses.

* Conduct research on trends, formats, creators, and industry narratives to bring fresh, relevant ideas.

* Help maintain content calendars and ensure timely publishing of posts.

* Coordinate with design, video, and product teams to bring concepts to life.

* Analyze social media performance and compile basic reports for internal use.

* Stay updated on cultural trends, meme formats, and aviation-related conversations online.

Qualifications:

* Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or a related field.

* Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and content formats.

* Basic knowledge of copywriting, caption writing, and social storytelling.

* Familiarity with reels, short-form video formats, and content editing apps (like CapCut, VN, Canva).

* Ability to think creatively, work independently, and bring new ideas to the table.

* Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams.

* Strong interest in technology, aviation, innovation, or startups is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior experience handling a personal/college brand page or freelance social media work.

* Comfort being on camera or capturing behind-the-scenes moments.

* Knowledge of analytics tools (Instagram Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.).

* Understanding of Gen Z content stylesmemes, trends, pop culture formats.

* Basic photography or videography skills.

* Experience with short-form editing or design is an added advantage.
